Joseph Vaglica, Contributing Instructor

Joseph Vaglica, P.E. is a graduate of Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan, and holds a Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. He has more than 25 years of experience in civil design, architectural and structural engineering and testing. His vast knowledge includes Design and Management of Civil Engineering Projects, bid-award and design build contract documents, flood plain management, design and management of residential, commercial and industrial projects. Joseph mobilizes his experience to enhance our future generations as the Professor, Director and Founder of Wayne State University’s Construction Management Program; Instructor and Commercial Construction Director for Global Inspector School®; and as a former Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Detroit Mercy and Macomb Community College. Joseph also brings to the table his experience as a residential, commercial and industrial inspector, Licensed Master Builder, Michigan Real Estate Broker, and owner of Gateway Engineering and Surveying, Inc.
